The Walpole Wild are proud to announce the signings of Cole Murphy-Myers and Carter Azevedo 🐎 Both are homegrown Walpole Island players who represented the Wild as APs last season, have represented Walpole at the LNHL, and both come off seasons with Wallaceburg U18. Murphy-Myers brings talent and leadership between the pipes after wearing an “A” for Wallaceburg U18 last season. Azevedo brings a gritty, hard-working style to the Wild blue line and will add plenty of compete to the defensive group.

The 2006-born forward from Hamilton, Ontario, joins the Wild after spending the past two seasons with the St. George Ravens of the GMHL and Victus Academy. A hard-working forward with a strong eye for the faceoff dot, Connor brings experience and a compete-first mentality to the Wild lineup.
